Laëtitia is a rising director whose films captivate viewers with her poetic aesthetic, humanity driven and mesmeric imagery. She studied direction at the renowned Kourtrajme film school under the wings of the school’s founder, oscar-nominated and cannes-winning film director Ladj Ly, starting her career being part of the Kourtrajmeuf female collective, directing films for Nike, Reebok or Givenchy to name a few. Growing up between Madagascar and Paris, Laëtitia developed her singular creative vision at a young age. She wrote stories and made personal films on subjects ranging from family identity and multiculturalism to climate change. Her first short film, Imani, was shortlisted at Young Director Awards 2022 for « Best Director », selected and screened at Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival and traveled the world (Ghana, UK, Switzerland...).
